The Kaliente Pro, the racing tire that Kenda developed in conjunction with an elite level UCI Professional road racing team. Producing the absolute lightest tire wasn't our ambition. Instead, we set out to create a tire that was race ready in weight and had puncture protection running from bead-to-bead. So, we used our Iron Cloak puncture protection under our R2C compound which increased the flat protection and longevity, while still offering great handling characteristics.
