Porcogen is a sterile solution of purified collagen extracted from SPF (SPECIFIC PATHOGEN FREE) porcine skin. It contains stable collagen protein with a native triple-helical structure. By choosing SPF porcine skin as the starting materials, the risk of Bovine Spongiform Encephalophy (BSE) contamination can be massively diminished.
