On June 26, Beijing International Cycle Expo 2015 and the 4th Beijing Cycling Festival opened. This expo and festival was conducted at Beijing Badaling International Exhibition Center on June 26-28, the largest of its kind developed by China Bicycle Association and HAOSI International. Beijing International Cycle Expo 2015 and the 4th Beijing Cycling Festival with “cultural, professional and innovative” characteristics focused on professional high-end brands, forefront innovations and trends, promoting trade exchanges and cooperation, Platform for Northern Dealers, sound development of the cycle industry and publicity of healthy and environment-friendly cycle culture. Meanwhile, the expo and festival exerted Beijing’s unique advantages in resources and cycling heritage, boosting the development of the northern market, creating the distinctive and effective international brand expo merging exhibition, trade, events and carnival into a single whole. Merida-CST Cup Fifth Beijing International Cycling Event was held on June 27-28.

In 2014, with great support from Beijing Olympic City Development Association and the People’s Government of Yanqing County, Beijing International Bicycle Expo and Cultural Festival attracted nearly 100 exhibitors, professional dealers in a number of key northern cities and more than 10,000 visitors, well received by the cycle industry and the northern cyclists. Principals of sponsoring HAOSI International (Group), China Bicycle Association, supporting Beijing Olympic City Development Association and the People’s Government of Yanqing County, and China Bicycle Association Cycling Culture Promotion Center, representatives of exhibitors and more than 100 media reporters attended the opening ceremony and took on-site visit.

It is reported that this expo and festival had an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters, doubling that of last year and an indoor exhibition area of 15,000 square meters, exhibiting more than 200 cycle brands, the industry’s latest products and smart products such as Merida, Rikulau, Flying Pigeon, Langtu, GHOST, Lightning, Look, Pinarello, Maxxis, MOTION, BATTLE, MARMOT, GRBIKE, Focus, MJRC, SANTIC, ASAHI, INNOVA, Xinzhenfa, JAKROO, Rudy, CCN, COUAN, GOGOBIKE, COFIDIS, TOPEAK, and Zhuichi, high-end multi-class cycles, sports equipment, spare parts and other related products, Flying Pigeon + LETV” super cycle, BICI smart cycle, Livall smart helmet, Yunhu smart mobile phone, fun cycling, traveler, come-on smart cycling APP. With an outdoor activity area of 5,000 square meters, it held nearly 20 live events, such as cycling fashion show, new cycle test cycling, stunt, “Ride & Gather, All Roads Lead to Beijing and Assisting Olympic Bidding”, and other major cycling events, club special activities, enhancing communication between cycles and consumers, highlighting the cycle culture charm. The 3-day expo and festival received 2,500 northern dealers and more than 10,000 cyclists.

This expo and festival highlighted forefront techniques and innovation in terms of smart exhibits and “Forum on cycling trends and smart edge-cutting”, and interpretation and communication of the cycle culture. This cycling will last half a month, along the 6 routes departing from Harbin, Qingdao, Zhengzhou, Xi’an, Jingdezhen and Baotou, passing through 12 provinces and cities, expanding the festival from the expo site to more than 50 cities. More than 1,000 cyclists will voluntarily participate and finally gather in Beijing. Through green, low-carbon, environment-friendly cycling, the cyclists promote the principles of cycling, Olympics and the cycle culture, green travel, low-carbon and environment-friendly philosophy and sound lifestyle, contributing to Winter Olympics 2022 bidding. At the expo, the organizers arranged a special “Ride & Gather, All Roads Lead to Beijing and Assisting Olympic Bidding” award ceremony, offering high honor and recognition to cyclists for their courage, self-challenging and communication of low-carbon and environment-friendly travel model. Cyclists will tell their cycling experience to the audience at “Ride & Gather, All Roads Lead to Beijing and Assisting Olympic Bidding” presentation, sharing their love of cycles, the cycle culture and support to the popularity of the cycle culture and green lifestyle. The expo and festival specifically incorporated artistic elements, with multiple large cycle adventure theme creativity ground 3D videos highlighting the entire expo site. Visitors had photos taken with the paintings, enjoying the unique cycle culture funs. The expo offers gifts every day, including certain gift with a value of over 1000 Yuan.
