SHOW-Bangkok brought together 823 seasoned exhibitors from Asia, filling 1,020 booths with their latest offerings. China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand had their own dedicated pavilions, each showcasing their premier brands and products. The event also received strong support from over 30 industry and trade organizations from Thailand and various ASEAN countries. The event’s opening ceremony was presided over by Dr. Prommin Lertsuridej, the Secretary-General to the Prime Minister of Thailand, who underscored the importance of MEGA SHOW-Bangkok 2024 in highlighting Thailand's strength and growth potential as the central business hub of the ASEAN region. He emphasized that this event not only provides a crucial platform for Thai entrepreneurs to expand their reach into international markets, but also helps enhance the global recognition of Thai and Asian lifestyle brands. The four-day MEGA SHOW-Bangkok welcomed 15,318 buyers and industry professionals from 97 countries and regions, marking a substantial increase in participation compared to previous years. Notably, there was a surge in interest from buyers for sporting, fitness and outdoor goods. A Spectrum of On-trend Sporting Goods On Parade As interest in fitness and outdoor activities continues to grow in ASEAN, the 2024 MEGA SHOW-Bangkok saw significant increases in both sporting goods exhibitor participation and their product diversity, reflecting the growing interest in health and wellness. Visiting buyers had access to an impressive array of sports and fitness products, from cutting-edge fitness trackers and wearable technology to high-performance sports equipment designed for various activities, including running, cycling, and team sports.
