Taiwan Horticultural Products Export Statistics, January-November 2023 ccording to the Department of International Trade, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), until November 2023, all four products related to agriculture, horticulture, and forestry showed a decline. Among them, mechanical appliances for dispersing liquid or powders, agricultural or horticultural showed the biggest decline of 44.02%, hand tools declined by 43.18%,hedge shears, one-handed pruning shears and similar one-handed pruning shears declined by 30.16%, and blades for agricultural, horticultural or forestry machinery declined by 37.32%. First, the cumulative export value of hand tools for agriculture, forestry and horticulture amounted to US$28,140 thousand, mainly sold to North America and Europe. The top five countries in terms of export value were the U.S., Germany, Japan, Poland, and the U.K., accounting for 58.59% of the total export value. The U.S. has been Taiwan's largest exporter for several years, with a value of US$10,977 thousand in 2023, a decline of 23.51% compared to the same period. Secondly, mechanical appliances for dispersing liquid or powders, agricultural or horticultural, has a cumulative export value of US$6,108 thousand in 2023. The top five countries in terms of export value were the United States, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Germany, and South Korea, accounting for 33.86%, 12.53%, 7.57%, 7.00%, and 6.38% of the total export value respectively. The cumulative total value of hedge shears, one-handed pruning shears and similar one-handed pruning shears in 2023 was US $25,825,000. The top five exporting countries were the U.S., Japan, Russia, Germany, and the U.K., which accounted for 53.06% of the total export value. The United States remains the largest exporter of this category. Cumulative exports of blades for agricultural, horticultural or forestry machinery totaled US $987,000, which Mexico, China, the United States, Brazil, and Japan are the top five exporting countries.
