A return back to normalcy is also underway, with more overseas visitors having already registered for their visit to Taiwan next April, showing that Taiwan is now open for business. Having opened its borders, an influx of visitors is expected at Taipei AMPA, and many long-time exhibitors are increasing their exhibit size in hopes of providing even more products and services to target buyers. Nan Hoang, Coplus, and Kuo Chuan, Taiwan’s leading producer of brake pads, car lights, and hood covers (respectively), are just a few of the domestic exhibitors that will bring out their big guns to Taipei AMPA and greet their buyers with the newest products in an expanded capacity. Also, with more international buyers expected to attend the show on site, extra 1-on-1 procurement meetings are expected to take place in hopes of matching up more buyers with exhibitors to connect with each other. After a successful launch in 2022, the AMPA Startup will return and headline a list of events at the 2023 Taipei AMPA. Connecting buyers with startups from other areas of the world, AMPA Startup was well received by both ends of the spectrum for its capability to instant connect target buyers and companies together. In addition, many industry forums and seminars will also take place, and with loosened entry restrictions, speakers from other nations are expected to present in person, allowing for more interaction with guests inside the conference room.
