Hybrid Exhibition The organizer KAIGO known for their innovation in exhibition planning and decade-long experience hosted an immersive virtual exhibition. KAIGO offers a full suite of programs which incorporates in-person experiences into the virtual exhibition with the support of Taiwan External Trade Development Council ‘s EXPO TECH program. Augmented reality was introduced to the virtual exhibition that allowed visitors to visualize and interact with the products like they would in real life. A telepresence robot traveled through the exhibition and broadcasted 360-degree videos live for all 3 days. Virtual reality was used to offer 360-degree tour of exhibitor’s factory. Such features allowed for visitors to experience the exhibition from the comfort of their own homes. In addition, virtual reality was incorporated into the opening ceremony with 5G Metaverse Virtual Reality Integration; guests were invited to use virtual reality headsets to launch virtual jets, signifying the arrival of a new era. These integrated experiences demonstrate KAIGO’s long standing commitment to Taiwan’s hardware and metal technology industry and to be the best platform both physically and digitally for customers. Seminars Seminars from leading companies, industrial associations and research institution are helping to shape the hardware and metal technology industry -Rainier Strnad, Editor in Chief of DIY International- outlined the trends and insights of European Home Improvement Retailers. -Taiwan Casting Industry Association -held several seminars on the AI application and value added to metal industry, business trends and challenges to the metal industry. -The Forging and Roll Forming Engineering Research Center from the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology -reported on the results of their research and introduced products they have developed to increase efficiency within the metal manufacturing industry. The seminars bring together the world’s top innovators and forward-thinking business to explore the latest trends in hardware and metal technology. An emphasis is placed on the promotion of academic and industry relations which contribute to the betterment of Taiwan’s hardware and metal technology industry. Taiwan Hardware Show 2023-will be held from 19-21 October, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center.
