Taiwan Scooter CUB Export Data source: Customs import and export statistics (the first 4 yards of the tariff code: 8711), compiled by TTVMA Taiwan Motorcycle Export Volume from January to October 2022 Unit: Per Motorcycle ccording to the statistics as of October 2022, the total export volume from Taiwan to the world is approximately 134,000 scooters, and the total export volume is approximately NTD6.69 billion. Compared with the same period in 2021, the total number of sold vehicles is down by 7.99% while the amount of sales revenue is increased by 9.93%. This contradiction is caused by inflation and rising price. The top five markets of Taiwan’s export quantity are ranked in the order of Japan, Madagascar, the United Arab Emirates, the U.S., and Spain. The top five countries of total export volumes of Taiwan are ranked in order as Japan, Italy, Spain, Israel, and South Korea. With regards to the change in CUB exports over the years, the sales volume shows gradual down- ward-sloping trends in the last 22 years. The annual sales volume for 2011 was still 360,000 scooters but the number fell to 200,000 scooters by 2019. Although the sales quantity increased to 260,000 scooters in 2020 due to COVID-19, less than 140,000 units were sold in the first 10 months of 2022.
